AFFINITY DIAGRAM
“Affinity Diagram” is the 7th self-published album by 34423 (Miyoshi Fumi) and
her only available title besides her recent “Tough and Tender” album which was released just before this album.
She always comes up with a key word first which is like the concept of the album, and then produces the matching sounds,
so you can say it’s like a soundtrack for words instead of visuals.
In this album, she has focused more on this process by imagining a word from another and putting the sounds to it,
repeating this process over and over which recalls it as “Affinity Diagram”.
In her imagination, these diagrams are like honeycombs which is the key visual for this album and for her recent
performances actually displaying handmade honeycombs over the stage.
